Television mirrors bring space-saving luxury to yacht
[by SÉURA]Christensen Shipyards, Ltd. of Vancouver, Washington recently completed the 162’ luxury yacht, “Remember When”. Slated to debut at the Fort Lauderdale Show in October, the ship features six spacious cabins, including the Owners Cabin, VIP cabin, and four guest cabins which allow for up to 12 guests. The interior was designed by Carol Williamson and Associates and showcases custom woodwork and stonework by Christensen’s own craftsmen.
Everything about this yacht is high-end and high-tech. While flat screen televisions abound and a swanky control system commands it all, our favourite are the three television mirrors.
Sleek vanishing television mirrors from SÉURA’s exclusive Enhanced Series provide elegant “his” and “her” vanities in the master bath suite. These mirrors both feature SÉURA’s own 19” LCD technology with an ultra-slim profile. Both different custom sizes, the pair provide an elegant addition to the high-gloss woodwork. The result is a luxurious space, without the bulky brackets of a traditional television or the distraction of the television’s presence when not in use.
The third television mirror is a proud 52” television from SÉURA’s Premier Series of television mirrors designed for living spaces. Housed in the sleeping quarters and surrounded by glossy black walnut millwork, the model provides all the advantages of a bright, high-definition LCD, with none of the aesthetic distractions. When off, the television is completely concealed. But once powered on, the 52” picture is big and bright, ideal for lengthy viewing before falling asleep while cruising the ocean.
